Our First Kiss

I’ve been thinking about this moment for so long
Playing it out in my mind a thousand times
I’ve never wanted to cross this line
A line that might cost us our friendship
Confused between wanting it to happen and afraid that it would.

You lend in close, touching my thigh.
I felt warm deep down inside
Felt the warm flow of your breath across my face.
It smelled of peppermint and spice cake.

Your eyes touch mine, held.
Your eyes held a smile, held me.
Your eyes lingered on my lips, then back to my eyes

Your lips twisted in a smile
Your lips wet where you licked them
Your lips thick with a pucker
Your lips moist, warm and ready met mine

Your lips held waiting
Your lips soft to the touch
Your lips sweet like candy
Your lips waiting

I open my lips for you to enter
Thick moist tongue you entered
We dance, our tongues, slowly, sensually
A dance few lovers really know
A dance deep, hungry and rhythmic
To a sound only we can know.

The kiss was soft sweet and tender
yet so full of deep blistering passion,
the likes I’ve never forget.
The fear I felt transformed itself
into a deep desire for another, KISS.
